Wigan Local Medical Committee – 2022/25

Wigan Local Medical Committee (LMC) is the elected, statutory body divided into constituencies covering:

  • Wigan and Orrell
  • Aspull.
  • Hey High Shevington and Standish with Langtree.
  • Golborne and Ashton in Makerfield.
  • Abram Hindley and Ince in Makerfield.
  • Leigh Central, Atherton and Tyldesley.

The Committee:

Members of the Committee are registered General Medical Practitioners who provide primary care medical services within Wigan LMC area, who pay a statutory and voluntary levy, or a special levy in the case of non-principal GPs.
